Thank you all for your very generous support of the United Methodist
Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and their efforts on our behalf in Haiti.  UMCOR
is the disaster-relief arm of the United Methodist Church, providing
shelter, food, water and medical resources--as well as long-term rebuilding
and support.  UMCOR arrives early and stays for the duration of the
needs--often years after the initial disaster.
   To continue to offer financial assistance, you can write a check to
GUMC with "Haiti" in the memo line and we will pass on the funds to UMCOR.
OR  You can go to www.umcor.org and follow the prompts to donate to Haiti
online.

Simpson is a multi-cultural church rooted deeply in the Japanese American experience, Simpson reaches out to all people in the belief that diversity is a strength. Today our membership is a rainbow of color, age, and cultural experience.
 
We believe in a loving God that is near to everyone. We base this belief on the teachings of Jesus and the example he set for us. We are not fundamentalist, and so we welcome reason, experience, and science as part of our lives and part of our faith in God.The heart of Christianity is compassion. We believe our faith is empty if it is not lived out. God's love comes to us on its way to someone else in many forms and missions at Simpson Church.

Donate your clean & gently used or brand new coats, sweaters, gloves, jeans,
hats, & socks to help us keep those in need warm for the winter! We are also collecting plastic food containers and coffee mugs.
