O.N.E. (outreach, nurture, evangelism)

The O.N.E. (Outreach, Nurture, Evangelism) committee has been working hard this year.  We have established a few sub-committees whose goals are to help the needy, reach out to the neighborhood, and have fun.  Below are a few of the activities we have been working on:

Epworth Barrel – collecting non-perishable food items for the needy.
Knitting – knitting of hats, scarves, children’s socks, etc. for the needy and hospitals.
Grocery gift cards – collecting funds for our mission projects.
Noisy Offering – collection by the Sunday School children for the Heifer project.

Keire-no-hi (honoring our elders) – Potluck in September to honor our 80+ members and friends.

New in 2017

We invite  all to our Reflections (Bible Study/Book Club)  group sessions.    We study Randy Frazee’s Believe:  Living the story of the Bible to become like Jesus.   We are taking a summer break but plan to begin our sessions again in September.

Church Retreat – We are planning a whole church retreat for the weekend of September 8, 9, and 10.  The Retreat will be held at the Buckhorn Camp located approximately 20 miles west of Fort Collins.  Watch for more information in our monthly newsletter and plan to join us for fellowship and learn more about Simpson.
